WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR (as of Tuesday, July 1, 2025):
The jury has just completed its third full day of deliberations and has been sent home without a verdict. They're set to resume Wednesday morning. This comes after both sides delivered powerful closing arguments:
The Prosecution: Assistant U.S. Attorney Frank Zarefa painted Sean "Diddy" Combs as a "predator" and the "conductor" of a criminal enterprise, urging the jury to believe the testimonies of Cassie Ventura and other accusers who detailed years of alleged abuse and trafficking.
The Defense: Diddy's lawyer, Teny Geragos, fired back, calling the accusers "liars" and "extortionists" motivated by money. He argued Diddy's relationships were consensual, albeit "toxic" and "messy," but not a federal crime.
The jury has already sent one note to the judge, asking to review the full testimony of Daniel Phillip, the male stripper who claimed he witnessed Diddy assault Cassie.
