While the rest of the sports world is in shock, Gilbert Arenas is laughing! On The Rundown, Doggie Diamonds is breaking down the former NBA star's bizarre and hilarious reaction to rumors that he is an FBI informant in the massive gambling scandal that just led to the arrests of Chauncey Billups and Terry Rozier.
As soon as the news broke, rumors began flying that "Agent Zero" was the "snitch" who gave up his NBA peers. But instead of getting angry, Arenas decided to troll the entire internet. He showed up to his "Gil's Arena" podcast holding a brown paper bag with "Informant Lunch" written on it, and even posted it on his Instagram.
Doggie Diamonds has the details. Arenas is clearly treating the "snitch" label as a complete joke. This isn't even the first time! When Arenas had his own legal trouble back in August for an illegal gambling operation, he went on a livestream and joked, "I'm pretty sure I ain't gonna be there [in court], 'cause, yeah, I'm snitching!" and "Ain't nothing wrong with snitching, man!".
While Arenas is clearly trolling, he did give a serious denial, saying he'd never cross the Mafia-backed figures involved in the case: "I watch enough movies to know the last group you want to snitch on is the mafia... I like my YouTubing career.".
