Did they think that just because every last one of them has a podcast, that nobody else is allowed to speak on the culture anymore? Is this their new hustle, trying to control the conversation after they couldn't control the narrative? And are we, the people who have been here talking about this music for decades, supposed to just pack it up and go home because they've decided to buy a microphone?
And let's be honest, isn't this all connected to the BIG issue with their music these days?
Could it be that the reason they're so sensitive to commentary is because the music itself is lazy? Are we supposed to pretend that the 30th song about the same watch, the same car, and the same lean is some kind of masterpiece? Have we forgotten what it means to have bars, to have substance, to have a story to tell?
Is it possible that they want to shut down the podcasters because they know the music can't stand up to any real criticism? When did everyone get so soft?
